Emthonjeni Student Wellness considers the months in which students write their mid-year and end-of-year exams. These periods are usually followed by recess with academic Cycles resuming thereafter.

We further consider that students will need to invest their focus in their studies therefore, during these months Emthonjeni Student Wellness does not hold events.

In the case of an online or mask-to-mask event being held to help students during this time, updates will be made, and students will be informed on various communication mediums used by Emthonjeni Student Wellness.

We wish all students the best in their exams during these periods.

*Please note that further details of each event will be shared via the Nelson Mandela University email closer to the date of that event.

Title Description

Learning Enhancement Checklist

It is a holistic instrument in that it focuses on a broad range of factors, from personal barriers to the study environment that may be interfering with a student’s success. It is also used by students who want to further develop their academic potential.

By using this instrument as an early warning intervention, students are better able to identify barriers and work towards their success.
